Construction is underway on the new Peachtree Hills Park playground. In addition to the playground equipment being installed through City of Atlanta funding, privately raised funds are supporting several complementary improvements designed to enhance the overall park experience.
Planned improvements include renovations to the existing pavilion including the addition of stone column details and seat walls, and reinstallation of the original commemorative bricks from the prior playground project. The project will also bring lighting to the playground and pavilion area for the first time, improving visibility and extending the usability of the space.
Fundraising remains open, and commemorative bricks are still available for donations received by August 26. Personalized bricks will be incorporated into the completed project. Donors who have already reserved a brick will receive additional information in regarding inscription details and installation timelines.
