A portion of the park has been replanted with native trees and plants but otherwise left undeveloped. Also, volunteers from Trees Atlanta planted and maintain a number of trees throughout. The wilder area of the park, the trees and plants in the park, as well as the small stream provides our park habitat for a variety of wildlife. This section describes some of the plants and animals that have been or can be observed in Peachtree Hills Park.
